Southern Cross Music Festival

There are people who would like to attend various festivals in the world that is why they keep on searching online for varieties of festivals that they can attend to. During the month of September, the southern music festival is being held in South Africa and it is often a 3 day event which is held in Hidden Valley banks of KwaZulu-Natal’s Mooi River. This festival was 1st held in 1998 and the proceeds were given to environmentalists because the musical festival was held with a cause.

Activities

In this musical festival, people will not just enjoy varieties of music but also there are other fun activities that they can enjoy just like fishing, swimming, abseiling, hiking, biking water rafting and many others since it is being held near the river.
There is nothing to worry because the area where the festival will be held can hold up to 6,000 people. Organizers chose this place because people can still enjoy a lot of fulfilled activities more than just listening to music. And because they want to give part of the proceeds to the environment for protection and care, they chose this place to give people a hint of what it is like to have a nice and beautiful environment. By appreciating the beauty of nature, they will be encouraged to take care of it and to take part in this wonderful and meaningful event.

What to expect

People should expect a lot of artists and musicals too. There are lots of guests that will surely take part in this momentous event. People should be prepared for a camping since the theme of the musical festival every year is different from the other year. In 2010, the organizers didn’t ask for stalls so there are no markets where people can buy food and goods, there are just vegetarian foods on sale and there are no alcoholic drinks too.
